Seun Kuti ShutDown Obafemi Awolowo University For Cameo in Kunle Afolayan’s ‘Citation’

           

Nigerian singer and instrumentalist Seun Kuti is set to make a cameo appearance in Kunle Afolayan’s highly anticipated movie Citation. Seun Kuti is ring off 2020 in high note definitely.


First, he announced that he would be performing at Coachella later this year. And now the award winning politically conscious artiste will be starring in a movie!

Afolayan announced on his Instagram handle page; that Seun Kuti aka Bigbirdkuti will be making an appearance in Citation.

He invited fans and students of the prestigious university to join the recording which will take place at the amphitheatre of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife .

Citation is Afolyan’s upcoming campus-centred film tackling the issues of sexual harassment in high institutions.

It will feature A-listers actors like Jimmy Jean Louis, Gabriel Afolayan, Ini Edo, Sadiq Daba, and Bukola Oluwasina. Temi Otedola, will also star in the movie.

The film is supported from Access Bank, Cannon and a number of other companies will be shot on locations in Nigeria and Cape Verde.
