Nigeria Should help Address “Belief & Reality” that its Citizens are Dealing Drugs & Engaging in Human Trafficking in SA – Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor

South Africa’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Naledi Pandor, has said that Nigeria should assist her country in addressing the “belief and reality” that some Nigerians are peddling drugs and engaging in human trafficking in her country.


Pandor was replied the  rumors making rounds that Nigerian security forces had indicated interest in being part of investigations on xenophobic attacks in South Africa.


Pandor said:

I would appreciate them in helping us as well to address the belief our people have and the reality that there are many persons from Nigeria dealing in drugs in our country.
I believe that Nigerian nationals are involved in human trafficking and other abusive practices.
These kind of assistance of ensuring that such persons do not come to our country will be of great assistance to our nation.
