Tyler Perry begins campaign to stop DIRECTV from dropping BET

Tyler Perry has started a campaign to save BET after it was revealed that DIRECTV is about to drop BET and 22 other Viacom channels.
Tyler used his voice and platform to make sure that "Viacom and BET is on DIRECTV".
At Madea's Farewell Play Tour, Tyler took to the stage after his show to raise awareness about the issue while telling his audience how they can save BET to ensure that it remains on DIRECTV for viewers. 
The director asked Americans to Save BET by calling a number shared on the screen or trending the hashtag #KeepViacom. Web users are already using the #KeepViacom hashtag as Tyler requested to encourage DIRECTV to change their mind.

Ok, so I’m ticked off. @directv@att is about to drop @bet and 22 other @viacom channels. This is crazy. I’ve had @directv for years. You can’t just drop @bet!!! And not expect there to be backlash. @bet has been on the air since I was a kid. This is not right. So I took this to the stage after my show, and I will be screaming this all over the country.
