How missing Covenant University student, Dami was caught in Lover’s home in Ibadan

Nigerians have reacted to the story of a Covenant University student, named Dami who allegedly faked her kidnap to see her lover in Ibadan.

The young lady, known on Twitter as @damilolaajayi, is said to be a student of Covenant University.
Dami was allegedly declared missing on March 9, 2019. The man she reportedly went to see was said to have volunteered in the search for her.

Her so-called lover, known on Twitter as @mark_kotun, is also said to be a student of same institution.

Dami’s story broke out on social media after friends discovered that she faked her own kidnap to see her boyfriend in Ibadan.

Nigerians have now joined in the conversation to condemn the alleged act.

The irony was not lost on some followers when the guy she was with joined online in the search for the lady.
According to her friends, she stuck to her claim that she was kidnapped and raped before the truth came to light.
This incident inspired the trending hashtag #LagostoIbadan on Twitter.
