Regina King won the award for Best Supporting Actress at the 91st Academy Awards for her role as Sharon Rivers in ‘If @bealestreet Could Talk' She was awarded the Best Supporting Actress on Sunday for her role in Barry Jenkins’ “If Beale Street Could Talk,” in which she plays Sharon Rivers, a matriarch whose spirit is as strong as her love for her family.
