Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is outchere improving in the lives of widows and orphans through her Give and Give initiative.
To close the year 2018, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde participated in the renovation of the house of a widow in just four days.
The widow, Folashade Chijioke, was nominated after numerous applications sent by email by another widow. Some of the selection criteria were that the nominated widow had to be a woman who worked, giving back to the community and raising her children.
Folashade's home has been revamped with new furniture, a new paint job, bathroom accessories, an upgraded kitchen, bunk beds and comfortable mattresses, a TV, a refrigerator and a gas stove.
Folashade and her four children were taken from the hotel where they stayed during the renovation and their new home was presented on December 31st.
