I know I cannot thank you enough - Ufuoma Mcdermott’s Farewell Note To The Domestic Staff Amara
As a mother and career woman, there is nothing as important as having a good support system, and sometimes we find them in people we do not know in the form of our homes. Although, we read and listen to stories of horrible house help but there are still good ones there and Ufuoma McDermott is pleased to know one.
In an appreciation post on her Instagram page, Ufuoma shared the good things her house help Amara, did to her family. According to Ufuoma, Amara executes home affairs without problems as they should be. Amara is ready to start her own family and business, Ufuoma pens a farewell note and is so amazing to know that there are still good people there.

Amara!
Very quick to learn. Very easy to love her.
What can I say? You have pretty much become a member of our family.
Amara has been with me since I had #Kesiena and my home has been safe and functional with her. I could take a trip to the other end of the world and not fret about the home front. Amara loves #Isioand #Kes like they are hers.
Kes actually annoys me when she wakes up at night crying for “Miss Mara” or when she insists Miss Mara must take her to the school bus
In my house, even our closets friends know that the fear of Amara is the beginning of wisdom. My able soldier!
“Aunty have you taken your medication?” “Aunty no o. I will only release the equipment to them once you show me the alert of their rental fee” “Isio, if you don’t finish that homework, no TV”. “Oga please go and sleep now o. We are going early to church tomorrow” chai!!!
If you visit, you MUST be fed. My poor husband and son who don’t like food, behave themselves around Amara. In fact, they now eat yellow ebar (Eba), brown ebar (wheat) and white ebar (semo) with egusi. She just couldn’t get them to like my darling ogbono soup sha
I never had one minute of worry with her in my house. But now, now she has to fly. She has to move on and start her own family and a career. She has go and become a great dress maker. I’m so glad I sent her to tailoring school, got her her first sewing machine and a smart phone so she can learn more on YouTube . She doesn’t have to laze around the house after marriage.
Thanks to all of you who rewarded her as well @chiomakpotha my sister forever. @vuaye my ex-husband  @_izoh the brother everyone should have. My dear husband, my mother…. I know Amara will be wise with her new found wealth and invest wisely.
God bless you Amara. I know I cannot thank you enough but the good Lord who is a rewarder will grant your desires and bless the works of your hands. 2019 is your year to become. I love you darling
