Whoopi Goldberg has confirmed that a Sister Act reboot is on its way.
During her appearance on Good Morning Britain, the 62-year-old confirmed that Disney will be producing another film in the singing-nun franchise. “We’ve been all over Disney begging,” Goldberg said. “They’ve decided that they’re going to go in a different direction with ‘Sister Act’.”She went on to reveal that it’s looking like it’ll be more of a reboot kinda vibe rather than a follow up to the second flick which was released in 1993. “It won’t be ‘Sister Act 3’; it will be a brand new rendition of ‘Sister Act’,” Goldberg explained, adding that she will most likely cameo in the flick “and I guess I’ll walk through a scene and that’s how they’ll say I was part of it.”Photo Credit: GettyFOLLOW
