
The second rediscovered version of Ben Enwonwu's famous "Tutu" paintings Thursday, sold for a $ 320,750 prize in the sale of Bonhams Africa Now. Nine of Enwonwu's paintings made it the top 10 spot for the sale of 121-tear to £ 1,802,625. Tutu is a 1974 painting by Princess Adetutu Ademiluyi, a family of Ife. The first version, which was discovered in a London home after disappearing for decades, was sold at auction for £ 1.2 million in February this year. Enwonwu is said to have made three versions of the iconic painting. The works of Congolese artists Freddy Tsimba and Patrick Bongoy also performed well. Tsimba's fermé center, rêve ouvert, reached £ 12,500 and Patrick Bongoy, Revenants III, sold for £ 12,500.

- Rhapsody in Blue, by Ben Enwonwu sold for £ 112,500 (worth £ 60,000-90,000). • Oglo of Enwonwu, signed and in 1992, is sold for 112,500 pounds (estimated 100,000-150,000).
• Aboudia Abdoulaye Diarrassouba's works played well with Untitled, 2016, reaching £ 25,000 (worth £ 10,000-15,000) and 'Gray Gray II' (2016) £ 32,500 (worth £ 18,000-25,000).
• Leonce Raphael Agbodjelou (Benin, born in 1965) Trichotically unnamed, 'Demoiselles de Porto-Novo' more than doubled its rating and sold for £ 37,500 (estimated £ 12,000 - 18,000).
