According to E! News, the actress and her boyfriend Danny Fukikawa welcomed their daughter, Rani Rose Hudson-Fujikawa, on Wednesday, October 2.
Confirming the exciting news, Hudson and Fujikawa took to their social media pages to share the story, while also revealing the inspiration behind the newborn’s name.
“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie), after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa,” Hudson explains. “Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor.”
She continued, “Everyone is doing well and happy as can be. Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back.”
The couple announced the sex of their baby in April in a video of the baby’s gender reveal, and she further shared cute photos of her baby bump.
Now, their daughter is here and fans are so happy for them.
Kate also has two other children, Ryder Robinson, 14, and Bingham Bellamy, 6, from previous relationships.
