Nigerian, Mikel, has accused FC Porto's coach, Sergio Conceicao, to mislead him.
FootballLive reports that Nigerian footballer Mikel Ndubuisi Agu, a midfielder of Vitona Setubal, has accused FC Porto's coach Sergio Conceicao of deceiving him into a false sense of confidence that he will take a seat in the club's main club this season.
Mikel Agu, who had a great time on loan at Turkey's Bursaspor last season, says he missed a big summer transfer due to Conceicao's promise.
He has now returned to lend to Setubal, where he was sent from Porto three years ago.
But the player, who almost did it with Super Eagles at the Russia World Cup, says he could have signed a big deal in the country, FootballLive reports.
“As long as Sergio is coach of Porto, I will not return. He asked me to come back.
“I went back for pre season and in the middle of it, he told me that I am not in his plans,” Mikel Agu said.
