Tiwa Savage and Coldplay were at the top of our list for the 8 previously teased Nigerian-international collaborations we were still eagerly anticipating.
The collaboration was first teased about 10 months ago, right after Tiwa shared a video of Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin rocking out to her Wizkid-assisted jam, "Ma Lo" – the standout track off her acclaimed Sugarcane EP.
While it was first announced that it would be a collaboration between just Tiwa and the Grammy-winning British rock band, it’s now been confirmed that it’s actually a team-up between Tiwa, Chris and Wizkid — making us even more hyped.
Tiwa shared the news during her interview with Beats 1’s Ebro Darden. She also revealed that the track will be released in September, and that she has a collaboration with Jamaican singer, Kranium set to drop soon as well.
