Powers Star Verne Troyer Dies At 49

American actor and former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Verne Troyer, - best known for playing Mini-Me in the Austin Powers films - was aged 49. The news was confirmed on his official Facebook page on Saturday night.

A statement read: "It is with great sadness and incredibly heavy hearts to write that Verne passed away today.
