Combining the two unlikely genres of comedy and thriller, Ojukokoro tells the story of an attempted robbery that goes very badly from three contradictory points of view. The director of the film is Dare Olaitan - an obvious fan of Akira Kurosawa, who is also a student in economics and business management who studied in the United States and who sees the premiere of Ojukokoro in New York as the next phase for Nigerian filmmakers. "We can produce films that entertain international and national audiences and NY is our chance to show that," Olaitan said. The first feature film and its producer, Olufemi D. Ogunsanwo, will be present at the Q & A session.
"Nollywood 3.0" represents what we missed in the 90s: a pipeline, "says KJM3 partner Marlin Adams. Ojukokoro star Wale Ojo, Ali Nuhu, Linda Ejiofor, Somkele Idahlama, Tedela Tope, Seun Ajayi, Oyetoro Hafiz (Saka), Zainab Balogun and Charles Etubiebi. It tells the story of what happens when a cash-strapped manager at a money-laundering service station decides to steal the gas station that employed him.
