In the Kapkwen area of ​​Bomet County, Kenya a man was apprehended after having sex with two hens, resulting in their deaths. According to reports, 33-year-old Alfred Kipkemoi Mutai aka Chesoni stole his neighbor's two hens on Saturday night, 20 January. He would then have been involved in the unnatural act all night and would have been caught in the morning by sneaking in with the dead chickens. After being pressed on where he was taking the chicken, Chesoni confessed to having committed the act. He was later beaten by the villagers who demanded that he compensate the owner of the birds. Richard Kibor Tonui, the owner of the chickens, said he would not forgive the culprit after receiving an allowance of Ksh.4, 000. "I was shocked to wake up in the morning only to find that this man (Chesoni) had raped my chickens, I want Ksh.2, 000 for each chicken, only then will I forgive him and he will never be allowed to put any more feet in my compound, "said Kibor. After the beating by the villagers, a wounded Chesoni promised to get married and lead a better life.
