Prince Harry joins African Conservation Group As President

Prince Harry was named President of African Parks, a conservation group that manages dozens of wilderness areas across the continent. Kensington Palace and Africa-based parks in Johannesburg announced Wednesday's meeting, highlighting Harry's dedication to African conservation since leaving the British Army in 2015. The conservation group says that Harry had previously worked with their teams involved in resettling elephants in Malawi in 2016 and reinstalling three-lane GPS maps to protect them. African park director Peter Fearnhead says Harry's "influential role" will back up efforts to help the wildlife as well as people living in and around the conservation area.
