The Ogun State Government is committed to ensuring maternal and child mortality through qualitative and effective health care delivery.
The wife of the state governor, Dr. (Mrs.) Olufunsho Amosun, at the ceremony of presentation of the flags of the week of the maternal, neonatal and infantile health (MNCHW) and the induction of reproductive health, maternal , Neonatal, Infant and Teen Champions (RMNCAH), held at Sango Primary Health Center, local area of Ado-Odo / Ota State, said the state was committed to improving maternal health and reducing child mortality , as no woman should die during birth or children die during childbirth.
Amosun noted that the MNCHW campaign was critical to ensuring children's right to good care and a better start in life, adding that it aimed to improve the health care of the whole family, especially pregnant women. and children under five.
