Chinedu Ikedieze, Osita Iheme popularly known as Aki & PawPaw are currently in Zambia for visit.
Copperbelt province Minister Bowman Lusambo Friday morning hosted the duo for breakfast at his home in Ndola on the Copperbelt province.
Lusambo said that he hosted the popular Comedians and took advantage to share the vision of the PF government in promoting Art.
“This morning I hosted popular Nigerian comedy duo Aki & PawPaw (Chinedu Ikedieze, Osita Iheme) for breakfast at my residence in Ndola together with my wife and children.
I shared the vision of the PF government of transforming the arts industry into an economic sector anchored on our rich tradition and culture. I also emphasized the need for Zambia to continue deepening cultural exchanges between Zambia and Nigeria and for Zambia to learn from the success of Nollyhood.
I also shared with them the great cultural history of the Lamba speaking people of the Copperbelt.
Aki & PawPaw were pleased to be in Zambia and said there is something unique about Zambia’s hospitality compared to so many other countries they have visited,” stated Lusambo in a statement.
The comedic duo who are visiting Zzambia as the country joins the rest of the world in celebrating Christmas was expected to perform at Mukuba Mall in Kitwe Friday night.
Lusambo is gracing the event as provincial Minister.
