A Senegalese vlogger, Assane Diouf living in the United States has been deportd from the country. He is known for posts on YouTube and his outspoken criticism of both President Macky Sall and Senegal's religious and political authorities.
Mr Diouf, who says he supports Macky Sall's predecessor Abdoulaye Wade, is among a number of Senegalese citizens to have been kicked out of the United State because of their status as illegal residents.
Senegalese police have confirmed on local radio that Mr Diouf is being held by criminal investigators in the capital, Dakar.
