The family of Sthabiso Mpanza, a South African police who was allegedly gunned down by her police boyfriend is still trying to come to terms with her death.
According to Daily Sun SA, Sthabiso Mpanza (22), who was stationed at Jozini cop shop in northern KZN, was murdered on Tuesday.
Constable Sfiso Sibiya (28) allegedly shot his lover before shooting himself dead! Sthabiso’s dad Banzi (55) told Daily Sun: “Our child was murdered by someone whose job was to protect others. We’re deeply saddened.”
Police spokeswoman Colonel Thembeka Mbhele said an inquest docket and murder case were opened at Jozini Police Station for investigation.
“The policewoman had numerous gunshot wounds to the head, stomach and armpit,” said Mbhele. “The policeman had one gunshot wound to his forehead.”
