Amid the euphoric success that came with being the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls girl group, Nicole Scherzinger was devastated by a secret battle with bulimia.
In a new interview with Cosmpoiltan, Nicole admitted that her body image problems took over when she was only 14 years old and would run in the middle of the night to get "thinner thighs". The 39-year-old revealed his eating disorder left his feeling "imprisoned" and "stole" his happiness. Now I accept my body more.
I was always very critical of myself from a very young age, and when I was 14, I started running, "Nicole confessed. "I went out in the middle of the night and ran because I thought I had to be thinner and my thighs should look a certain way. "When I got The Pussycat Dolls, it really amplified that because it had a lot to do with showing off your body."
