A recent tweet published by Kendrick Lamar seems to suggest that he could in fact simply terminated his agreement with the giant sportswear Reebok in place of what is supposed to be a more lucrative partnership with Nike. With his twitter article, "Cortez, From the First Day."
Accompanied by a #teamnike hashtag, Kendrick reminds us that a change in partnership is perhaps too much anticipated. Lamar has been seen rocking the Cortez sneaker from the old school a few times over the last few months, especially at the end of the video for his title 'ELEMENT.
With the exception of Kendrick's admiration for the Cortez, little is known about what his partnership with Nike will entail.
