Bride shares story of how her wedding dress was made by her mother..........
#jaiyeorie
Simi got married to the love of her life recently. Read her interesting wedding dress story below:
Let me share a little story about my wedding dress. I have only known one seasoned fashion designer my entire life. She has been sewing before I came into this world. I had to start buying dresses after I left secondary school. She has sewn wedding dresses for so many people e.g The wife of the current Bishop of Egba Diocese (Anglican Communion) and mine (as the little bride); also Aunty Akinyele Temitayo Abosede and so on. I have been little brides to so many and she would sew my outfit. So I decided that my wedding gown would be made by no one else than this lovely fashion designer. You may wonder who this fashion designer is! It’s no other person than my Mother and twin sister (as we look alike), Mrs. Badejoko Abosede OLUGBEBI. My sweetest, caring and patient mother. We call her Mummy Jorai (Jorai from Jehovah Jorai – the God that teaches). I write this piece on my knees and I pray that the Almighty God would bless you. You shall eat the fruit of your labour. I love you mum. She made my dress and that of my little bride. WHAT DO YOU THINK............ WRITE.........
