Miss Anambra, Chioma Obiadi won Miss Nigeria .The event held at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island Lagos on 19th December 2016.

Chioma Stephanie Obiadi beat 36 other contestants to be crowned the winner of the 40th edition of Miss NIgeria 2016 on Monday, 19th December, at Eko Hotels. She won  a brand new SUV, one year serviced apartment, all expense paid trip to France, a 6 month skills acquisition training in any institution of her choice and N5 million cash prize. She will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe 2017 contest next year.
