In a recent report by Femi Makinde for Punch, a lecturer at the Department of Languages and Linguistics of the Osun State University, Ikire Campus, Dr. Wale Ojoniyi, was exposed.
A 400 level English , Mercy was said to have been suspended for exam malpractices and it was believed that this was orchestrated by the lecturer. On her return from suspension he was pressurizing her for sex, and so she decided to set him up by recording their meeting at the hotel.
The matter is said to still be under investigation.
