“Handbag” → “Sis” → “Growth.” - Diiadem shades Ehi Ogbebor Over Old 2020 DMs

The current drama began with the public fallout between Diiadem and her former friend Dabota Lawson. Diiadem discussed their friendship and brought Ehi into the story, claiming that Dabota had tried to connect Ehi with Tonto Dikeh ex businessman Olakunle Churchill, whom Diiadem had also been linked to. Ehi denied having any relationship or contact with Churchill. 

Ehi released a voice note in which she attacked Diiadem and made several unverified personal allegations about her, including claims concerning a trip to Uyo many years ago. She also warned Diiadem against involving her in the dispute. 

 “Six years ago, I wanted to be your handbag; this year, I turned into your sis. That’s growth.” 

She also reportedly said:

 “We used to beg them to use their showrooms for photoshoots, but now we have our own house and space.” 

She challenged Ehi over the version of their relationship being presented, saying she had approached her in 2020 about using her showroom for photoshoots and “we were never socially close.” 

This is more interesting than simply “Diiadem shades Ehi.”

Ehi's receipt says: You once wanted access to my circle.

Diiadem's response says: Yes — and look at where I am now.

So the real clash is over how the past should be interpreted after someone's status changes.
