#jaiyeorie Nollywood actress Toyin Adewale has shut down reports that her singer son, Mayorkun’s house caught fire. It was reported hours ago that news made rounds that the singer and his family narrowly escaped death in a fire incident. According to reports, his Lagos mansion caught fire after an explosion on Saturday night. Taking to her Instagram page, Toyin Adewale questioned if people don’t verify news before posting. She described such news as seriously unfair and prayed against the evil aimed at her and her family. Toyin appreciated everyone for the calls and messages and let them know that they are well

Toyin Adewale shuts down fire incident reports Last year, rapper Zlatan Ibile sang the praises of Mayorkun’s mother, gushing over her and describing her as one of his favourite mums. Reposting it on her Instagram story, Toyin described him as her husband and prayed for more blessings for him. Also, last year, Toyin Adewale expressed excitement about representing her son at his former boss, Davido’s, white wedding in Miami to Chioma. 

 In a 2020 interview, Toyin Adewale opened up about how she now relates to her son following his fame. She admitted that she was afraid of his career choice and didn’t give him her blessing, but now she is a proud fan of music, which she constantly listens to. The veteran actress said she monitors her son daily despite his fame and age. In a past birthday message to his mum, Mayorkun had penned a sweet and heartwarming birthday message to mark his mother, praising her efforts in his life and his siblings. He also celebrated her for being a blessing to his life. Also, while celebrating his birthday in 2022, Toyin expressed delight over her son’s innumerable achievements in his career. She also added how proud she was to be his mother.
