Tank Turns 50 Into an R&B Reunion: Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown, Omarion and More Celebrate the Singer

50th birthday became a snapshot of Tank's relationships and legacy in R&B.

This was Tank’s 50th-birthday celebration, and the guest list was essentially a mini R&B reunion. The event took place at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on December 31, 2025, as part of R&B Soulful Nights. Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown and Omarion were among the stars involved, with Keith Sweat and Mýa hosting.

Tank’s longtime connection with the guests is part of the story: Jamie Foxx has been a close friend for years and was one of Tank’s groomsmen at his 2018 wedding to Zena Foster.

Tank, whose real name is Durrell Artaze Babbs, has songwriting/production links to artists including Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown and Omarion, making the gathering feel less like a random celebrity party and more like people from different chapters of his R&B career coming together for 50.
