Former Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Mr Adegoke Fayoade, on Tuesday handed over to a new Commissioner of Police, Mr Olanrewaju Ishola, at the Command Headquarters, Ikeja
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Fayoade, immediately after handing over, proceeded to take over the reins of office at Zone-2 Command, Lagos, as Assistance Inspector-General of Police (AIG).
NAN reports that Fayoade is among seven Police Commissioners promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) by the Police Service Commission (PSC) on Aug. 30, 2024.
The Force Spokesperson, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Sept. 9, announced the posting of Fayoade and other promoted officers to their new commands.
Fayoade thanked the officers and men of Lagos command for their professionalism and commitment to duties, and tasked them to keep the flag flying.
