Ashanti & Nelly had a blended family Mother’s Day this past weekend

Before their little one arrived, Ashanti and Nelly brought their families together for a special Mother’s Day celebration.

Ashanti shared photos from the gathering, including Nelly’s daughter Chanelle and her granddaughter, alongside Ashanti’s parents and other family members.

“This Mother’s Day was so special,” Ashanti wrote, describing having their families together as they prepared to begin a new chapter as parents.

This wasn’t simply a celebrity couple celebrating a holiday. It was two families becoming one family system — with children, parents, grandparents and a new baby on the way.

Fast-forward, and their blended-family journey has become part of their reality show Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together, where they navigate parenting, family dynamics and life together.
