Lilian Afegbai recounts how she was charged N22K at a hair salon in Lekki where she went to loosen her cornrows.
Akachawa Barbie said that she had just finished shooting a film when she decided to loosen her cornrows for the next set where she was asked to come with her natural hair.
She said that she had rushed into a salon in Lekki and asked them to quickly loosen the hair for her. After the procedure, Lilian said that she had thought it would cost nothing more than 8 or 10K, but she was shocked to be handed a bill of N22K.
She added that she is not pleased with the exorbitant cost of making hair at Lekki, warning that she and others might revolt against their inflation of prices.
