“No wonder my stomach is always paining me” – Influencer Enioluwa laments over fake products trending online

#jaiyeorie Enioluwa Adeoluwa, has cried out over trending fake consumer goods in markets and stores across the country.

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) raised alarm after arresting a group specializing in making fake wines, soft drinks, and other consumables in Eziukwu Market, Aba, Abia State.

A user on X page, @Aimalohi6, informed Nigerians about a specific soy sauce brand that has recently witnessed an increase in counterfeit products.

The tweet read in part, “New discovery there is AMOY, AMOYS, AMOI, AMQY, AMOY’c oyster sauce, sesame oil, and soy sauce brands in Nigeria. The original brand is AMOY without the s. Every other brand is fake, good stores are selling the fakes. No idea where to get the original”.

The post gained attention on Monday when numerous consumers commented, sharing pictures of counterfeit products they purchased from supermarkets.

However, Enioluwa, who is a food blogger, took to his official social media as he complained about consuming fake products, probably resulting to his constant stomach pain.

He wrote, “No wonder my stomach is always paining me. Me wey dey chop everything!😭”.
