Following allegations that the Nigerian singer Rema performed at his 02 show wearing a demonic mask, a fan from Benin has taken to Twitter to support the artist.
Many even claimed that after his performance wearing the mask, Rema had joined the Illuminati.
Rema, who finally spoke, said that the mask could be linked to his Benin origins.
A Nigerian fan with the handle, Edocentric_ took out time to defend the singer and wrote:
“Queen Idia Mask/REMA isn’t demonic; as a matter of fact, she is a
national hero to Nigeria and the Benin Kingdom. She lived in the 15th
century. She was the first Edo woman to go to war. She defeated a giant
for a son to become king She was the first queen mother in Benin.”
