In addition to becoming well-known in social circles, Burna Boy's catchphrase "No evidence, you go explain tire" also appears to have caught the attention of Nigerian academics.

The Burna Boy slogan, "No evidence, you go explain tire," converted it into an exam question at the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.

On a recent exam taken by 400-level history and international studies majors, the phrase was found in answer to question number five.

The question posed to the students was: “How does the current popular saying of Nigeria’s music sensation, Burna Boy, ‘no evidence, you go explain tire,’ reflect the nature of history?” This unexpected blend of pop culture and academia surely caught the attention of many.

The phrase originated during one of Burna Boy’s live sessions with his fans on Instagram.

Burna Boy expressed, “If you no make am for this life, no evidence, you go explain tire.”
