Celebrities and other Nigerians who stopped to assist Hilda Baci in her bid to break the record for the shortest cooking time by a single chef have come under fire from Teddy A, a former Big Brother Naija, Double Wahala housemate.
It's no surprise that Nigerians descended on Lekki, in the state of Lagos, to support Hilda Baci as she attempted to complete the challenge posed to her by breaking the Guinness World Records.
Celebrities include Iyabo Ojo, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Nse Ikpe Etim, Nancy Isime, Orezi, Yvonne Jegede, Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Chioma Goodhair, Teni, Tiwa Savage, and a host of others descended on the cooking site to offer Hilda Bassey their support.

The father of three criticized people who invaded the site, accusing them of using the event to try to gain influence. He asserted that many of Hilda's supporters never went out of their comfort zones to help their friend, saying they never demonstrated love by supporting their friend's culinary or business endeavors.
He chastised individuals who showed up at the cook-a-thon for using Hilda Baci's notoriety as leverage.
“I’m so proud of Hilda the chef. Personally, I don’t know her but iv seen her work. It’s also a great thing that Nigerians are supporting and showing up to support.
“However, I have only one question. And this is for the clout chasers. And fake souls. Now ask yourself. The way you left your home and drove all the way to the location where she’s cooking, have you ever done the same for your friend who also cooks?
“Just to support their business and hustle?
“Have you left the comfort of your house to ever go support a friend’s canteen or buka or even regular business? But you would drive miles to go and take pictures and hide under supporting one another. The fakeness for this una blood goes die with una!”
