Ayra Starr revealed how her secondary school math teacher envisioned her being signed by her record label, Mavin.

The singer, whose real name is Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, revealed this fact on a recent edition of "Afrobeats Intelligence" with Joey Akan.

According to Ayra Starr, her math teacher recognized her talent and even predicted the day Mavin would sign her.

She claimed that despite being just 14 years old, his belief in her motivated her to join the choir and improve her voice.

The instructor encouraged her to share her recordings online for others to watch.

As he had predicted, she had been signed to Don Jazzy's record label.
