Isidore Ene Bassey, a Nigerian, has revealed his views on the relationship between virginity and moral character.

In response to a post regarding virginity and character being closely related, Bassey gave his opinion.

Bassey disputes the idea that being a virgin indicates having a strong moral character. Bassey asserted that virginity is not the same as character, clearly disagreeing with the claim.

He claims that despite his brother being a virgin, university-educated, and having strong family values, his disastrous marriage is proof that virginity alone does not ensure a happy marriage.

“To whom it may concern, virginity is not the same as character, I have a brother that was a virgin, finished university, worked for years, went to UK, came back, still a virgin, married with both traditional and church rituals, yet marriage could not last 6 months. Parental guidance and instilled discipline is not the same as in-built character.”
