This afternoon, the millionaire businessman Ayiri Emami was replaced as the Ologbotsere of the Olu of Warri by Ogiame Atuwatse III.Remember that Ayiri vigorously opposed the king's coronation in August 2021, even going so far as to legally challenge it. He told Ayiri that going forward, he should drop the title he currently holds and accept his late father's title, which Ayiri refused because it's a demotion from the Ologbotsere title, which he held. The monarch thanked him for all he has done for the Itsekiri kingdom and then asked him to leave his palace.Thereafter, he immediately installed a new Ologbotsere of the kingdom, Chief Oma Eyewuoma.
