The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' 95th Academy Awards ceremony was held on March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to recognize movies that were released in 2022.
Writing about her reasons for choosing not to attend the award ceremony, she wrote,

She continued,

First yet I get invited and I follow patriotism.”
