Police detain House of the Rock pastor for preaching with AK-47, seek dismissal of police officer who offered him the rifle

Tension as the AK-47-wielding presiding pastor of the House on the Rock Church's Abuja branch, Pastor Uche Aigbe, stirred things up during Sunday service.

Police detain the pastor of the House of the Rock for using an AK-47 while preaching, and they want the policeman who gave him the weapon fired.
Pastor Uche Aigbe of House on the Rock in Abuja has been detained by the Intelligence Response Team of the Force Intelligence Bureau, Garki, for holding an AK-47 rifle while giving a sermon on February 12 in the church.
When Aigbe entered the church on Sunday holding the firearm in his hand, he raised a commotion.
This morning, the FCT police command launched an inquiry and found that one Inspector Audu, who was on duty in the church, had given him the firearm.

When questioned by the police, Audu said that he just gave the firearm to Pastor Aigbe in order to use it as an example.
Sadiq Abubakar, the Federal Capital Territory Command's Commissioner of Police, has recommended firing Inspector Audu to Usman Baba, the Inspector-General of Police.
