A former signee of Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido, Yonda, has publicly appealed to the singer for forgiveness, expressing regret over what he described as his betrayal and asking for another opportunity to reconnect with him.
In an emotional message, the singer wrote:
“Please treat my f**k up and let me be your slave again.”
The unusual choice of words has attracted attention, particularly because of Yonda's previous professional relationship with Davido and his place within the singer's former record label structure.
## Yonda Seeks Davido's Forgiveness
Yonda's message appeared to acknowledge a previous disagreement or falling-out with the music star. By openly admitting that he had made a mistake and asking to return, the former signee has brought their past relationship back into public conversation.
His appeal also raises questions about what happened between the two musicians, what led to their separation and whether Davido would be willing to accept his apology.
Yonda was previously associated with Davido's DMW music circle, where he gained attention as one of the emerging talents connected to the singer.
