Broda Shaggi, a well-known Nigerian comedian and actor, has urged African fathers to make it a practice to show their children love and care.
The multi-talented artist recently urged African fathers to hug their kids frequently and speak to them in kind and loving ways rather than being cold-hearted.
He also said that dads' affectionate behavior toward their children is important and need to become the norm.
Shaggi said he can't wait to show his unborn children love.
The 29-year-old comedian claims that he would adore it if his future children would wake up each morning and tell him that they love him.
And he is eager to embrace them so that they can feel the beat of his heart.
He continued by saying that parents should demonstrate their affection to their children when they are young rather than wait till they are fully grown and off to college.
“African fathers please hug your children! love them ….it matters a lot!
No be when pikin won enter University, you go give am first hug
I definitely will want my future kids to say “daddy I love you” every time they wake up.
I can’t wait to draw them so close to my heart that they will hear every beat coming from my heart.
Normalize telling your kids how much you love them.”
