Bolanle Olukanni has complained about how expensive things have become this Christmas season.

The media personality took to social media to express her frustration over the rising cost of goods and services during the festive period, highlighting just how much more expensive it feels to celebrate Christmas this year.

Christmas is supposed to come with joy, but when every item on the list suddenly feels like a luxury, the celebration can come with a different kind of calculation.

Christmas in Lagos has a way of turning celebration into serious budgeting, with outings, food, transportation and entertainment all competing for the same naira. So this Christmas, are we still spending for the memories—or spending just to keep up with the season?

Has Christmas become more expensive—or have we simply reached the point where everything now has a price tag that makes you pause?
