Following his tour to Nigeria, Lecrae gave himself a Nigerian name. The US Gospel rapper revealed that he is now known as Adewale Obinna after discovering that his origins originated in Nigeria according to a DNA test. The Grammy-winning artist posted new images of himself posing for the camera while wearing a traditional aso-oke agbada and fila. Lecrae praised fellow gospel singers Ada Ehi-Moses and Limoblaze for the hookup and spoke about the incredible love and care he has received since arriving in Nigeria.
