On November 4 in Los Angeles, California, the venerable hip-hop trio Salt-N-Pepa received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
At the unveiling event on Friday, original members Cheryl James (Salt), Sandra Denton (Pepa), and Deidra Roper (DJ Spinderella) were all present.

The Grammy-winning band became well-known in the 1980s after their smash tune "Push It" made them the first female rap group to achieve gold or platinum status.
A video of the ceremony was posted on the official Salt-N-Pepa Instagram account, along with a note thanking everyone involved.
