A young university student is accused of selling one of his kidneys in order to obtain a brand new iPhone for his sweetheart.


According to authorities, the young man, a student at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), obtained the smartphone after going through the protocol.


It was also learned that the young man bought the new iPhone for his girlfriend, whom he adores.


The young man was seen cheerfully holding the iPhone box while lowering his shirt to reveal a plaster allegedly covering the region where the organ was extracted in a viral photo posted online.
