Lai Mohammed claims that the Terror Alert By Embassies was Unverified and maintains that Nigeria is safe.
Nigeria is "safer today than at any time in recent history," according to Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, since the worst of the country's unrest has passed.
At a Ministerial Session during the current UNESCO Global Media and Information Literacy Week, the Minister made this statement.
He asserts that the military and other security organizations are capable of defending both natives and foreigners in Nigeria.
"I can tell everyone that our military and other security services have kept up their efforts to secure and protect both Nigerians and foreign nationals residing in Nigeria.
Terrorists have taken a beating and are now fleeing.

The bandits have been wiped out and dispersed.
Thanks to the sacrifice of our men and women in military, our nation is safer now than it has ever been.
Nigerians must also remain vigilant but must not panic.
The worst is past for Nigeria in terms of insecurity, as I recently stated in a statement.
The distribution of the alleged security alert sent recently by various foreign embassies in Nigeria may have been influenced by clickbait, according to Mohammed, who also claimed that some media outlets and social media celebrities spread unsubstantiated material on their platforms.
If this type of security alert was actually issued, one would assume that it was intended to draw the attention of the populations of the issuing countries.

“Talking of clickbait, this may be what informed the spread of the supposed security alert issued recently by some foreign embassies in Nigeria.”

If such a security notice was ever issued, one would assume that it was intended to draw Nigerian residents' attention to the issuing nations.
This alert suddenly spread throughout traditional and digital media, causing panic in the political system.
People's life were interrupted as a result of the closure of businesses, schools, and other facilities.
Nobody was interested in learning the veracity of these signals.
They simply published, profited greatly from clickbait, and damned the repercussions, he said.
