Michael Jackson’s Ex-Wife Shares Regret As She Shockingly Hints She Was Partly To Blame For His Death

In a new documentary for Fox TV, Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson's ex-wife, expressed her regrets over the pop icon's passing.


Recall that the father-of-three and King of Pop passed tragically in 2009 at the age of 50 from a heart attack brought on by a Propofol overdose while he was preparing for a 50-night residency at London's O2 Arena.


Debbie, 63, sobbed as she admitted to the cameras that she thought she could have done more during his opioid addiction. 

Debbie said:

“I should have done something and I didn’t. There is a number of people that died from addictions and in some way I was part of it.”

The thriller singer died of a cardiac arrest in June 2009 with enough of the powerful sedative Propofol in his system to put down a rhinoceros, ex-LAPD coroner Ed Winter told the documentary.

Debbie who was married to the singer between 1996 and 1999, was surrogate mother to Jackson’s two eldest children, Prince and Paris.

Debbie worked as an assistant to dermatologist Arnold Klein, who was one of the medical professionals that provided him with strong pain relief.

She told documentary-makers:

“I was basically as bad as him (Klein) and I am so sorry I participated in it.”

It’s not the first time she has laid some of the blame on Klein, who died in 2015 and was dubbed the ‘Father of Botox’.

In 2013 during a civil trial over Jackson’s death, she pointed the finger at him for feeding the Thriller star’s habit.

According to his autopsy, meanwhile, Jackson was crippled by arthritis and his lungs were so scarred and inflamed that they were struggling to function.

His biographer Ian Halperin, claimed Jackson suffered from an inherited disease that restricted protein in the lungs and left him gasping for breath and too weak to walk.

On top of that, he claimed Jackson’s vision in left eye was ’95 percent gone’, and the coroner’s report later corroborated how sick the Jackson 5 singer really was.

Crippled by degenerative bone disease in his spine and fingers, he also took ‘hours to wee’ due to an enlarged prostate and was plagued by complications from years of cosmetic surgery.

Jackson also suffered from two rare skin conditions – vitiligo and discoid lupus – and had allegedly been ‘doctor hopping’ in a bid to satiate his addiction to prescription drugs.

And after analysing his autopsy report, forensic expert Dr Richard Shepherd found it was a ‘miracle’ that Jackson hadn’t died years earlier given the decrepit state of his drug-ravaged body.
