John Boyega wants people to know that he did not stutter while he spoke.


The actor responded to a Twitter user who criticized him for saying in an interview that he only dates black women.



The Twitter user made fun of the star of "The Woman King," remarking that while if a white celebrity had claimed to only date white women, he would have been accused of racism, people seem to think it's acceptable for a black celebrity to claim the same. 

John Boyega had replied the tweep, tweeting,
“When they talk about preferring brunettes or blondes they’re not talking about a wig. My preference is not a topic for debate.”
