 Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, is under fire for attending the 15th Headies Awards in Atlanta, Georgia.


The Lagos state governor attended the Headies event, which honored musical talents from all over Africa.




Babajide Sanwo-Olu gave Wizkid's manager, Sunday Are, the award while highlighting the effects of youth in the entertainment business.


However, internet users who thought about the 2020 massacre in Lagos at the EndSARs rally criticized the governor's appearance.




Others questioned the connection between his role as a state governor and the award ceremony that featured musical performances.
